In November, the 5.2 update introduced some fantastic new tools, including 3D model painting, stroke stabilisation, page assist, and the ability to view 3D models in AR (see our reviewer using the tools in the photo above).

And since 2019, there's been a dedicated iPhone version named Procreate Pocket. Procreate has full support for both first- and second-generation Apple Pencils, depending on your iPad model. Added palm support means you no longer have to worry about accidentally drawing over your canvas, and an ever-growing library of Procreate brushes will help you add flair to your artwork. Our testing found that the easy-to-use layout is packed with features artists will love, from true-to-life pencils and inks to advanced layer compositing and unique digital tools. What started out as a basic drawing app back in 2010 has transformed over the years into a highly professional tool so much so, it's even bagged itself a couple of Apple Design Awards. I guess being as they had a report about this that I was probably legit. If it’s a painting app for iPad you’re looking for, we highly rate Procreate.

The person I spoke with did say I was the second person with this same issue of a CD without the software on it. Oh well, glad you got through the frustration and got it working.Ī good comment about Icom, when I called and told them my software CD did not have the software on it, I figured they would make me go back to HRO but nope, they listened and sent me a new CD out priority mail with no questions asked or even any form of proof of purchase. That is pretty silly your CD said version 1.2 but it was still really 1.0. This was not all that long ago and version 1.2 had been on their website for a pretty long time when this happened but the CD I received was still version 1.0 and was also marked as V 1.0 so I at least knew I had to upgrade the software after I installed it. No such luck, they had to send me a new CD. Instead of calling HRO, I decided to call Icom directly in hopes they could give me a link to download it. When I bought my software from HRO, the disc did not have the CS-R8600 folder or software on it at all!! It only contained the USB drivers and that was it.
